Alfa Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 21.7% at the end of 2015, up from 17.7% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 21.7% in 2015 and an all time low of 9.20% in 2008.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 16.8% at the end of 2015, up from 12.8% compared to a year earlier.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 114% at the end of 2015, down from 132% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 105%.

When compared to bank's main peers, Sberbank ended the year 2015 with a capital adequacy ratio at 12.6% and loans to deposits of 94.6% and VTB Bank with 14.3% and 130% respectively.
