Banca Transilvania made a net profit of RON 1,481 mil under revenues of RON 4,993 mil in 2020, up -19.7% and -1.21% respectively compared to the previous year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of RON 2,446 mil in 2015 and an all time low of RON 2.92 mil in 1997. The average profit in the last five years amounted to RON 1,394 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of RON 5,054 mil in 2019 and an all time low of RON 19.1 mil in 1997. The average revenues in the last five years reached RON 4,111 mil.
Comparing Banca Transilvania with its closest peers, BRD Groupe Societe Generale generated a net profit of RON 963 mil with revenues of RON 3,093 mil in 2020.
