Bank BPH made a net profit of PLN 68.9 mil under revenues of PLN 55.6 mil in the second quarter of 2016, up 1% and down 80.5% respectively when compared to the same period last year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of PLN 92.8 mil in 3Q2012 and an all time low of PLN -1,095 mil in 4Q2015. The average profit in the last six quarters amounted to PLN -248 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of PLN 567 mil in 4Q2010 and an all time low of PLN 48.5 mil in 1Q2016. The average revenues in the last six quarters reached PLN 219 mil.
When compared to bank's main peers, PKO BP generated a quarterly net profit of PLN 874 mil with revenues of PLN 2,609 mil in 2Q2016, Pekao SA netted PLN 691 mil (revenues of PLN 2,013 mil) and ING Bank Slaski announced a net profit of PLN 407 mil (revenues of PLN 1,152 mil).
