Bank Zachodni WBK's non-performing loans reached 7.30% of total loans at the end of 2015, down from 8.37% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 20.4% in 2001 and an all time low of 2.80% in 2007.
Provision coverage amounted to 70.3% at the end of 2015, up from 67.3% compared to a year earlier.
The bank created loan loss provisions worth of 0.897% of average loans in 2015. That's compared to 1.13% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.
