Budapest Bank made a net profit of HUF 14,600 mil under revenues of HUF 76,599 mil in 2017, up 11.8% and 3.68% respectively compared to the previous year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of HUF 14,766 mil in 2015 and an all time low of HUF -38,725 mil in 2014. The average profit in the last five years amounted to HUF 3,552 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of HUF 99,267 mil in 2011 and an all time low of HUF 26,972 mil in 1998. The average revenues in the last five years reached HUF 77,445 mil.
Comparing Budapest Bank with its closest peers, OTP Group generated a net profit of HUF 281,142 mil with revenues of HUF 863,141 mil in 2017, K&H Bank netted HUF 41,669 mil (revenues of HUF 147,864 mil) and MKB Bank announced a net profit of HUF 19,201 mil (revenues of HUF 78,656 mil).
