Czech Coal made a net profit of CZK -375 mil in 2014, up 66.2% when compared to the last year. Total sales reached CZK 1,810 mil, which is down 61.8% when compared to the previous year.
Historically, the company’s net profit reached an all time high of CZK 3,294 mil in 2009 and an all time low of CZK -1,108 mil in 2013.
In terms of sales, Czech Coal reached an all time high of CZK 13,128 mil in 2011 and an all time low of CZK 1,810 mil in 2014.
Czech Coal's net profit has grown nan% a year on average in the last five years while sales have increased by -30.5% a year since 2009.
The firm generated its shareholders an average return on invested capital of -27.6% in the last five years.
As far as Czech Coal's peers are concerned, JSW posted a net profit and sales of CZK -659 mil and CZK 6,815 mil in 2014, Carbounion Bohemia generated a net profit of CZK 223 mil (with sales of CZK 6,437 mil) and OKD netted CZK -10,093 mil (sales of CZK 19,223 mil).
