DEZA, a. s. is a Czech Republic-based producer of basic aromatic chemicals designated for further chemical use. Company's products are used as precious raw material in the production of carbon materials, paints and pigments, softeners for plastics, plasticizers for concrete and polyurethanes. The target user segment is the building and automotive industry.
The Company has increased its sales and profits five-fold in the last decade. In 2012, sales reached nearly CZK 10 bil and net profit amounted to CZK 750 mil. Deza is little indebted (net debt amounted to 25% of total equity at the end of 2012) and impressively profitable (with ROE of 20-30% in 2010-2012).
The Company had nearly 1,000 employees in 2012 with average staff cost of USD 2,222 per person a month
