Based on a comparison of 31 countries in 2019, Turkey ranked the highest in pharmaceutical consumption of antibiotics with DDD 31.0 followed by South Korea and Chile. On the other end of the scale was Austria with DDD 9.30, Netherlands with DDD 9.50 and Latvia with DDD 11.4.
