Based on a comparison of 37 countries in 2013, Japan ranked the highest in average length of hospital stay for in-patient care with 30.6 days followed by South Korea and Russia. On the other end of the scale was Turkey with 3.90 days, Mexico with 4.00 days and Denmark with 4.30 days.
