Based on a comparison of 108 countries in 2019, Australia ranked the highest in expected years of schooling of females with 21.1 years followed by Sweden and Belgium. On the other end of the scale was Niger with 5.73 years, Mali with 6.80 years and Pakistan with 7.58 years.

Average expected years of schooling of females reached 12.3 years in 2019 in the World according to World Bank. This is 0.725 % more than in the previous year and 13.1 % more than 10 years ago.
