On the operating level, EBITDA margin reached 4.75% and EBIT amounted to 7.09% of sales in 2017.
As far as Hyundai Motor Company's peers are concerned, Volkswagen Group posted net and EBITDA margin of 4.92% and 15.6%, respectively in 2017 and PSA Peugeot Citroen generated margins of 2.96% and 8.84%.
