National Bank of Greece generated total banking revenues of EUR 2,089 mil in 2015, down 6.07% when compared to the previous year.
Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of EUR 5,077 mil in 2009 and an all time low of EUR 1,765 mil in 2003. The average revenue in the last five years amounted to EUR 3,330 mil.
Net interest income represented 91.2% of total revenues, fee income contributed 4.45% and other non-interest income added further 4.36% to the overall revenue generation in 2015.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 1.88% total assets in 2015, down from 1.93% a year earlier.
When compared to bank's main peers, Alpha Bank Group generated total revenues of 3.34% of assets in 2015, Piraeus Bank Group operated with 2.73% revenue margin and Eurobank Group produced total income worth 2.40% of assets.
