Pekao SA's non-performing loans reached 6.53% of total loans at the end of 2015, down from 7.00% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 24.7% in 2003 and an all time low of 5.46% in 2008.
Provision coverage amounted to 71.9% at the end of 2015, up from 69.6% compared to a year earlier.
The bank created loan loss provisions worth of 0.451% of average loans in 2015. That's compared to 0.594% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.
