Piraeus Bank Bulgaria made a net profit of BGN 29.9 mil under revenues of BGN 85.1 mil in 2017, up 146% and 5.47% respectively compared to the previous year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of BGN 61.5 mil in 2008 and an all time low of BGN -179 mil in 2015. The average profit in the last five years amounted to BGN -51.1 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of BGN 180 mil in 2011 and an all time low of BGN 63.3 mil in 2005. The average revenues in the last five years reached BGN 94.9 mil.
Comparing Piraeus Bank Bulgaria with its closest peers, DSK Bank generated a net profit of BGN 285 mil with revenues of BGN 715 mil in 2017, United Bulgarian Bank netted BGN -47.4 mil (revenues of BGN 346 mil) and Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria announced a net profit of BGN 137 mil (revenues of BGN 314 mil).
