PKO BP made a net profit of PLN 815 mil in the third quarter of 2015, down 6.66% when compared to the same period of last year. This implies a return on equity of 11.2%.

Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of PLN 1,017 mil in 3Q2011 and an all time low of PLN 306 mil in 4Q2004. The average profit in the last six quarters amounted to PLN 769 mil.

The bank generated its shareholders an average return on equity of 14.2% in the last five years with maximum at 19.1% and minimum at 9.27%.

When compared to bank's main peers, Bank Zachodni WBK generated a net profit of PLN 473 mil with ROE of 9.60% in 3Q2015, Pekao SA netted PLN 610 mil(ROE of 10.9%) and ING Bank Slaski announced a net profit of PLN 316 mil implying ROE of 12.7%.
