Privredna Banka Zagreb's non-performing loans reached 11.9% of total loans at the end of 2015, down from 13.9% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 14.6% in 2013 and an all time low of 3.31% in 2007.
Provision coverage amounted to 70.5% at the end of 2015, up from 62.9% compared to a year earlier.
The bank created loan loss provisions worth of 2.86% of average loans in 2015. That's compared to 1.46% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.
When compared to bank's main peers, Zagrebacka Banka operated at the end of 2015 with NPL ratio of 16.2% and provision coverage of 62.8%, Splitska Banka with 11.2% and 83.1% respectively and Raiffeisenbank Croatia had 17.3% of bad loans covered with 72.7% by provisions at the end of 2015.
