Average asset yield was 3.69% in 2017, down from 3.89% when compared to previous year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 0.374% in 2017, down from 0.521%.
Comparing Raiffeisen Bank Romania with its closest peers, Banca Commerciala Romana operated in 2017 with a net interest margin of 2.55% in 2017, BRD Groupe Societe Generale reached 3.22% and Banca Transilvania some 3.38%.
