Raiffeisen Bank Romania made a net profit of RON 510 mil under revenues of RON 2,127 mil in 2017, up 13.5% and -2.11% respectively compared to the previous year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of RON 614 mil in 2008 and an all time low of RON -50.5 mil in 2002. The average profit in the last five years amounted to RON 476 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of RON 2,172 mil in 2016 and an all time low of RON 191 mil in 2002. The average revenues in the last five years reached RON 2,090 mil.
Comparing Raiffeisen Bank Romania with its closest peers, Banca Commerciala Romana generated a net profit of RON 668 mil with revenues of RON 2,888 mil in 2017, BRD Groupe Societe Generale netted RON 1,406 mil (revenues of RON 2,786 mil) and Banca Transilvania announced a net profit of RON 1,239 mil (revenues of RON 2,966 mil).
