Renault made a net profit of EUR 2,823 mil in 2015, up 49.4% when compared to the last year. Total sales reached EUR 45,327 mil, which is up 10.4% when compared to the previous year.
Historically, the company’s net profit reached an all time high of EUR 3,420 mil in 2010 and an all time low of EUR -3,125 mil in 2009.

Renault's net profit has grown -3.76% a year on average in the last five years while sales have increased by 3.07% a year since 2010.
The firm generated its shareholders an average return on invested capital of 3.26% in the last five years.
As far as Renault's peers are concerned, PSA Peugeot Citroen posted a net profit and sales of EUR 576 mil and EUR 54,676 mil in 2015, Volkswagen Group generated a net profit of EUR -1,370 mil (with sales of EUR 213,292 mil) and Ford Motor Company netted EUR 7,373 mil (sales of EUR 149,558 mil).
