Sberbank Czech Republic's capital adequacy ratio reached 16.3% at the end of first quarter of 2017, down from 16.6% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 17.5% in 4Q2015 and an all time low of 11.4% in 3Q2013.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 15.9% at the end of first quarter of 2017, down from 16.3% compared to the same period of last year and down from 16.2% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 99.3% at the end of 1Q2017, up from 94.6% when compared to the same period of last year.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna ended the first quarter of 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 19.1% and loans to deposits of 71.4%, CSOB with 17.4% and 73.4% respectively and Komercni Banka some 15.7% in terms of capital adequacy and 76.7% of loans to deposits at the end of the first quarter of 2017.
