Sberbank Czech Republic made a net profit of CZK 55.6 mil under revenues of CZK 569 mil in the first quarter of 2017, up 667% and 24.1% respectively when compared to the same period last year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of CZK 169 mil in 4Q2014 and an all time low of CZK -64.2 mil in 3Q2015. The average profit in the last six quarters amounted to CZK 59.0 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of CZK 663 mil in 4Q2014 and an all time low of CZK 277 mil in 1Q2007. The average revenues in the last six quarters reached CZK 515 mil.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna generated a quarterly net profit of CZK 3,528 mil with revenues of CZK 9,331 mil in 1Q2017, CSOB netted CZK 4,682 mil (revenues of CZK 9,709 mil) and Komercni Banka announced a net profit of CZK 4,081 mil (revenues of CZK 7,820 mil).
