This translates into a net margin of 7.13%. Historically, the firm’s net margin reached an all time high of 11.6% in 2010 and an all time low of 1.82% in 2009. The average net margin in the last five years amounted to 7.98%.
On the operating level, EBITDA margin reached 10.2% and EBIT amounted to 13.6% of sales in 2015.
As far as Scania Group's peers are concerned, Kamaz Group posted net and EBITDA margin of -2.13% and 2.58%, respectively in 2015, MAN SE generated margins of 1.01% and 8.30% and Hino Motors's profit margin reached 3.73% on the net and 8.49% on the EBITDA level in 2015.
