Stavebni Sporitelna Ceske Sporitelny's capital adequacy ratio reached 17.4% at the end of first quarter of 2017, up from 16.8% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 17.5% in 2Q2016 and an all time low of 11.2% in 3Q2014.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 17.3% at the end of first quarter of 2017, up from 16.2% compared to the same period of last year and up from 16.6% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 51.1% at the end of 1Q2017, up from 47.2% when compared to the same period of last year.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceskomoravska Stavebni Sporitelna ended the first quarter of 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 19.7% and loans to deposits of 82.7%, Raiffeisen Stavebni Sporitelna with 16.2% and 63.5% respectively and Modra Pyramida Stavebni Sporitelna some 15.0% in terms of capital adequacy and 60.7% of loans to deposits at the end of the first quarter of 2017.
