UniCredit Czech Republic's capital adequacy ratio reached 16.4% at the end of first quarter of 2017, up from 15.1% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 16.6% in 3Q2016 and an all time low of 14.5% in 4Q2015.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 15.9% at the end of first quarter of 2017, up from 14.9% compared to the same period of last year and up from 14.6% when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 95.8% at the end of 1Q2017, up from 91.8% when compared to the same period of last year.

When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna ended the first quarter of 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 19.1% and loans to deposits of 71.4%, CSOB with 17.4% and 73.4% respectively and Komercni Banka some 15.7% in terms of capital adequacy and 76.7% of loans to deposits at the end of the first quarter of 2017.
