Based on a comparison of 122 countries in 2023, Moldova ranked the highest in bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities with 289% followed by Equatorial Guinea and Congo. On the other end of the scale was Botswana with 15.6%, Namibia with 17.6% and Romania with 18.4%.
