Based on a comparison of 18 countries in 2016, Germany ranked the highest in number of new lower-medium cars sold with 1,100 '000 followed by United Kingdom and France. On the other end of the scale was Iceland with 4.42 '000, Luxembourg with 14.0 '000 and Greece with 19.2 '000.
