Total apple consumption reached 65,583 kt in 2013 in the World according to Faostat. This is 1.49 % more than in the previous year and 22.4 % more than 10 years ago.
Historically, total apple consumption reached an all time high of 65,707 kt in 2011 and an all time low of 13,225 kt in 1961. The average annual growth amounted to 3.13 % since 1961.
