Based on a comparison of 114 countries in 2021, China ranked the highest in foreign debt with USD 2,702,505 bil followed by India and Brazil. On the other end of the scale was East Timor with USD 279 bil, Comoros with USD 337 bil and Eritrea with USD 745 bil.
