Based on a comparison of 129 countries in 2019, Cuba ranked the highest in physicians per 1,000 people with 8.42 persons followed by Italy and Georgia. On the other end of the scale was Malawi with 0.036 persons, Chad with 0.054 persons and Benin with 0.065 persons.
