Which Country Produces the Most Lemons and Limes?

Based on a comparison of 95 countries in 2022, India ranked the highest in lemon and lime production with 3,776 kt followed by Mexico and China. On the other end of the scale was Kyrgyzstan with < 0.001 kt, Bosnia and Herzegovina with 0.015 kt and Maldives with 0.038 kt.

Total lemon and lime production reached 21,530 kt in 2022 in the World according to Faostat. This is 0.079 % less than in the previous year and 30.3 % more than 10 years ago.
