Total pear production reached 24,173 kt in 2014 in the World according to Faostat. This is 4.26 % less than in the previous year and 23.6 % more than 10 years ago.
Historically, total pear production reached an all time high of 25,204 kt in 2013 and an all time low of 5,202 kt in 1961. The average annual growth amounted to 2.94 % since 1961.
