Based on a comparison of 45 countries in 2014, Russia ranked the highest in raspberry production with 144,000 tonnes followed by Poland and USA. On the other end of the scale was Luxembourg with 1.00 tonnes, Slovenia with 2.00 tonnes and Slovakia with 21.0 tonnes.
Total raspberry production reached 589,559 tonnes in 2014 in the World according to Faostat. This is 1.92 % more than in the previous year and 12.3 % more than 10 years ago.
Historically, total raspberry production reached an all time high of 605,439 tonnes in 2011 and an all time low of 134,115 tonnes in 1961. The average annual growth amounted to 2.83 % since 1961.
