Based on a comparison of 31 countries in 2015, China ranked the highest in zinc (slab) production with 6,155 kt followed by South Korea and India. On the other end of the scale was Ukraine with 0.700 kt, Algeria with 7.60 kt and Vietnam with 10.0 kt.
