Which Country Produces the Most Triticale?

Based on a comparison of 42 countries in 2022, Poland ranked the highest in triticale production with 5,440 kt followed by Germany and France. On the other end of the scale was Kyrgyzstan with 0.298 kt, Algeria with 0.560 kt and Cyprus with 1.32 kt.

Total triticale production reached 14,158 kt in 2022 in the World according to Faostat. This is 0.641 % less than in the previous year and 3.58 % more than 10 years ago.

Historically, total triticale production reached an all time high of 16,981 kt in 2014 and an all time low of 1.20 kt in 1975. The average annual growth amounted to 22.1 % since 1975.

The top ranked country, Poland, accounted for 38.4 % of triticale production in the world. The top 3 countries hold a 63.5 % share while the ten largest countries some 87.1 % in 2022.
