Total turkey meat production reached 5,546,586 tonnes in 2014 in the World according to Faostat. This is 1.47 % more than in the previous year and 6.25 % more than 10 years ago.
Historically, total turkey meat production reached an all time high of 5,678,170 tonnes in 2008 and an all time low of 808,341 tonnes in 1962. The average annual growth amounted to 3.49 % since 1961.
