Based on a comparison of 28 countries in 2013, Germany ranked the highest in consumption of chocolate products per capita with 11.5 kg followed by Switzerland and Norway. On the other end of the scale was Bulgaria with 1.73 kg, Romania with 1.95 kg and Japan with 2.11 kg.
