Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of TRY 7,940 mil in 2017 and an all time low of TRY -972 mil in 2002. The average profit in the last five years amounted to TRY 5,467 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of TRY 19,968 mil in 2017 and an all time low of TRY 4,238 mil in 2005. The average revenues in the last five years reached TRY 14,771 mil.
Comparing Ziraat Bank with its closest peers, Isbank generated a net profit of TRY 5,749 mil with revenues of TRY 23,321 mil in 2017, Garanti Bank netted TRY 6,388 mil (revenues of TRY 19,655 mil) and VakifBank announced a net profit of TRY 3,910 mil (revenues of TRY 12,509 mil).
