Based on a comparison of 10 countries in 2022, India ranked the highest in areca nut production with 1,666 kt followed by Bangladesh and Myanmar. On the other end of the scale was Maldives with 0.013 kt, Malaysia with 0.041 kt and Bhutan with 11.1 kt.
