Asylum applicants reached 9,430 persons in 2014 in Greece, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 14.7% more than in the previous year.
Historically, asylum applicants in Greece reached an all time high of 25,115 persons in 2007 and an all time low of 860 persons in 1993.
