Bank debit card penetration reached 57.5% in 2017 in Spain, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.50% more than in the previous year.
Historically, bank debit card penetration in Spain reached an all time high of 80.6% in 2001 and an all time low of 52.2% in 2014.
