Bank loans by public bodies reached EUR 9.66 bil in 2011 in Portugal, according to the National Central Bank. This is 11.9% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank loans by public bodies in Portugal reached an all time high of EUR 11.0 bil in 2010 and an all time low of EUR 1.88 bil in 1999.
