Catches in major fishing areas reached 8,747 Tonnes live weight in 2015 in Bulgaria, according to Eurostat. This is 2.12% more than in the previous year.

Historically, catches in major fishing areas in Bulgaria reached an all time high of 13,555 Tonnes live weight in 2002 and an all time low of 3,408 Tonnes live weight in 2005.
