Chemical wood pulp production reached 25,443 kt in 2015 in the European Union, according to Faostat. This is 0.244% less than in the previous year.

Historically, chemical wood pulp production in the European Union reached an all time high of 27,603 kt in 2006 and an all time low of 8,783 kt in 1961.
