Coal consumption as a share of worldwide consumption reached 0.089% in 2015 in the European Union, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.89% more than in the previous year.
Historically, coal consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in the European Union reached an all time high of 0.324% in 1980 and an all time low of 0.087% in 2014.
