Based on a comparison of 80 countries in 2009, Armenia ranked the highest in added value of construction industry as a share of GDP with 17.4% followed by Iran and Albania. On the other end of the scale was Mongolia with 0.750%, Nigeria with 0.797% and Pakistan with 2.20%.
