Consumer loans as a share of bank loans reached 1,646% in 2021 in Uganda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 9.23% less than in the previous year.
Historically, consumer loans as a share of bank loans in Uganda reached an all time high of 1,844% in 2012 and an all time low of 1,402% in 2013.
