Consumer loans reached USD 1,349 bil in 2021 in Japan, according to the National Central Bank. This is 2.38% less than in the previous year.
Historically, consumer loans in Japan reached an all time high of USD 2,151 bil in 1995 and an all time low of USD 1,032 bil in 2014.
