Based on a comparison of 97 countries in 2017, Venezuela ranked the highest in crude oil reserves as a share of worldwide reserves with 18.2% followed by Saudi Arabia and Canada. On the other end of the scale was Ethiopia with < 0.001%, Morocco with < 0.001% and Jordan with < 0.001%.
