Diesel-Fuelled Cars (As % of New Cars Sold) in Hungary

Diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold reached 12.8% in 2022 in Hungary, according to ACEA. This is 18.0% less than in the previous year.

Historically, diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Hungary reached an all time high of 100% in 2005 and an all time low of 2.91% in 1996.

Hungary has been ranked 21st within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold.
