Based on a comparison of 21 countries in 2016, Italy ranked the highest in final stocks of PGI red and rose wine with 7,038 1,000 hl followed by France and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Finland with 2.00 1,000 hl, Luxembourg with 2.00 1,000 hl and Slovakia with 3.34 1,000 hl.
